Don't miss Six Pack, featuring six short works by [hidden] director/choreographer Robert Dekkers. Highlighting the company's passion for presenting programming that is "anything but risk averse" (SF Chronicle), the program will feature a world premiere collaboration with Bay Area composer Samuel Adams. Also new on the program is the fourth chapter of the company's year-long integrative project with The Living Earth Show, 'Do Be: Family Sing-a-Long and Game Night.'
Back by popular demand is 'ourevolution,' featuring the imaginative designs of illustrator Enrique Quintero. Set to a mesmerizing score by composer Nils Frahm, 'ourevolution' explores our society’s steady drift toward isolation. The work features animation by Stephen Goldblatt and Yas Opisso, costume design by [hidden] aesthetic advisor Christian Squires and Susan Roemer of S-Curve Apparel & Design, and lighting by David Robertson.
Also returning to the P:B stage is 'Yours is Mine,' Dekkers 2014 work for Atlanta Ballet's Wabi Sabi. Featuring a hypnotic score by Jonathan Pfeffer and costumes by Tamara Cobus, this quartet is "a high-energy, sexually charged killer" (SF Chronicle).
