Dance Studios offer a variety of dance styles in either group or private lessons. Some dance studios choose to specialize exclusively in Latin American dances such as the mambo, cha-cha-cha, rumba, salsa, merengue, samba. Others may teach only classical dances like waltz and tango. And some studios offer belly dance, club dance, Irish dance and other dance styles. Majority of people take group lessons as a least expensive option. Lessons offered are from Beginner to Intermediate to Advanced. Dance Schools / Academies are institutions specializing in a particular dance style such as for example Ballet (this is for kids mostly). Those are professional institutions that provide a curriculum and programs just like a regular school or college. There are also many profit and non-profit Organizations featured on our site that offer dance classes in your area.

• Dance classes are offered by dance studios, schools, organizations or individual dance instructors. Those may be group or private classes. Group classes are usually specialized classes such as, for instance, Flamenco. Private lessons, taught at studios, home or a rented space, are mostly taken by people that already have some experience.
• There are many Dance Instructors that teach at dance studios, organizations or individually. Search and discover many teachers in your area on our site.
