Fall into Tango! You are invited to join a group of curious and adventuresome New Yorkers in the first class of the Beginner's Tango Program for free this coming Thursday evening, September 12, at 8:30pm. in studio 3G on the third floor of 440 Lafayette, just South of Astor Place. This is intended for those who have had no, or very little, experience with Argentine Tango and no previous dance experience is required. You do not need to come with a partner as we will routinely switch partners throughout the class. Several people have already signed up for this class so there will be folks for you to dance with. The teacher is experienced and very clear in their teaching, the vibe is friendly and supportive! To find us take the stairs or the elevator to the third floor at 440 Lafayette Street and then follow the arrows to studio 3G. Then just come on in-no one need wait in the hall! The class is 55 minutes long, and all who take the class are ALSO invited to attend our all-school practice session that is held right after the class. The practice meets from 9:30-10:45pm when we turn the room into a magically lit Tango Salon! You can try out your new moves, ask the teacher questions, or visit with the other people in the classes. And because we serve wine during our practice our attendees must be over 21. To create a good experience for all we limit the size of our classes, so please RSVP so that we can we can hold your space. We look forward to meeting you-let's dance!
How to find us: Take the elevator or stairs to the third floor, through the little lobby and to the right for Studio 3 G. Then come right in!
