Wlne New York: Building And Managing A Localization Team

Join the Women in Localization Northeast Chapter’s first New York event of the year on March 28, 2019, generously sponsored by Eriksen Translations. We will be exploring the topic of Building and Managing a Localization Team. Localization is the process of adapting products and services to international markets by tailoring them to meet the legal requirements and cultural and linguistic specificities of target locales. It involves a variety of professional skill sets, up-to-date technology and automation to carry out the business plan and strategies of an individual client or customer. Come hear our panel of seasoned industry professionals share their experience of Building and Managing a Localization Team for their companies. • Carolina Escalona, Language Services Department Manager, Verizon Wireless • Aisha Khan, Globalization Manager, WeWork • Kristina Ona, Lead Localization Project Manager, WeWork • Yasmin Menon, Director of Production, Eriksen Translations The March 28th event will help you grow your professional network, build a sense of community with Women in Localization, and benefit from our speakers' experiences in the localization industry.
