Virginia Episcopal School is a college preparatory, independent boarding/day school for students in grades 9-12. Founded in 1916, VES is located near the Blue Ridge Mountains in residential Lynchburg, Virginia. VES is a college preparatory, coeducational, boarding and day school serving students in grades 9 – 12. Located in Lynchburg, VA, VES sits on 160 acres in the heart of Central Virginia. A blend of 245 young men and women, day students and boarding students from all over the U.S. and the world, our campus is a meeting place for diverse perspectives and global cultures where students learn from and respect each other. The student body is composed of 67% boarding and 33% day school students; 54% male, 46% female; and 22% international students.
