Betty's School of Dance

Betty Parlier founded Betty's School of Dance in 1945, and the school is now under the direction of Natasha Smyth Marko. Classes are offered in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, acro, belly dance, hip hop, & break dance. BSD is a 9400 squre foot dance center in downtown Statesville. The school is equipt with large studio space and sprung marley dance floors to protect the health of our dancers' bodies. This school offers quality training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, musical theater, hip hop, breakdance, belly dance, and acrobatics. All core instructors are certified annually by Dance Masters of America at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
