Salsa Rueda At Ubc

This event is organized by the Salsa-Rueda Club at UBC Hola Salseros y Salseras! Hope everyone is doing well! We will be having this week's salsa rueda session from 7-9pm at 2306/2309 in the Nest at UBC. As per the usual format the first hour will be practice/lesson and the second hour will just social dancing. The lessons will be divided up into 3/4 groups (based on attendance): • beginner I (for your first time here -- basic salsa step, dame, fly) • beginner II (for beginner steps other than the base step, enchufla, prima, etc through sombrero) • Intermediate (setenta through setenta complicada) • Advanced These are still Covid times however, so everyone must wear masks. Similarly, make sure to bring hand sanitizer. For beach sessions, masks are optional. If you are new to our club welcome! We are happy to offer you a couple trial sessions before you decide whether you want to become a member.
