Sepharadic Tango Concert In Celebration Of The Hispanic Heritage Month

The Embassies of Argentina and Israel present Ramón Tasat and Rodolfo Marcelo Zanetti in a Sepharadic Tango Concert, in celebration of the Hispanic Heritage Month. Cantor Dr. Ramón Tasat, born in Buenos Aires, has toured Europe with the renowned Dr. Robert Shaw and has participated in international festivals on both sides of the Atlantic. His performances include appearances at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall; the Piccolo Spoleto Festival; the Jewish Music Festival of Berkeley; Saint Cére; Siena; Helsinki; Istanbul; Barcelona and Buenos Aires. He's recorded Fiesta Sefarad, Cantata Ebraica, Teshuva, among others. Rodolfo Zanetti has performed as soloist the bandoneon in Argentina and the United States, including at the Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia of Mendoza; at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts with the Pan American Symphony Orchestra; at the Lisner Auditorium of George Washington University; at the Embassy of Argentina and at the Organization of American States. Her also performed as soloist at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and Carnegie Hall. In 2017 he won the First Prize as a bandoneonist at the "Che Bandoneón International Competition" awarded by the Argentine Tango Society at the Stowe Music Tango Festival in Vermont, USA.
