Pop Up Milonga On Detroit's Riverfront

Detroit's Argentine Tango community is growing. Come see what it's all about at this free outdoor event on the Riverwalk. Our August Pop Up Milonga will take place in downtown Detroit on the Riverwalk. Come celebrate the summer before it slips away! We will be dancing outdoors on a vinyl dance floor laid atop pavers, so your tango shoes should be safe; otherwise any smooth bottomed, comfortable shoes will do. There is a bar on the riverwalk close by; bring your water bottles/thermoses/etc, whatever you need to stay hydrated!6-7PM Beginners Class 7-10PM Milonga (open dancing)DJ Randy will be spinning the beats. Expect danceable cortinas! PLEASE make sure all of your dancing friends know not to miss free dancing outdoors, and invite all of your non-dancing friends to get an intro class, a drink at the bar, and watch beautiful dancing as the sun sets!
