Kettlebell Athletics Two- Beyond the Basics. Course Details: Kettlebell Athletics Two is a 12-hour hands-on certification/workshop consisting of 3 different modules, each focusing on a separate component of power development, sports performance and advanced kettlebell skills, flow and complexes. In Module #1 (Kettlebell Power-Metrics) you'll learn how to use the kettlebell as a non-impact plyometric training tool. You'll learn several advanced variations of the kettlebell swing that enhance nervous system recruitment and directly impact power and force production. You will how to combine these kettlebell exercises with other training tools and non-kettlebell movements such as deadlifts and plyometrics. You'll learn the science behind these moves and how it applies to fitness and sports performance. In Module #2 (The 1.5 Series) you'll learn real-world single-leg training for fitness and performance. 80% of our lives are spent on one leg, yet very little of our training time is devoted to sensible single-leg training. The 1.5 series is the perfect solution to powerful single-leg training. You'll learn unique single-leg kettlebell execises from a hip-dominant and knee-dominant perspective. You will how to combine these kettlebell exercises with other training tools and non-kettlebell movements such as deadlifts and plyometrics. In Module #3 (The 1/2 Kneeling Series) you'll start to explore "Kettlebell Flow" from this rare but powerful position. You'll learn why this position is an ideal form of hip conditioning. You'll uncover new kettlebell skills that you'll fall in love with. You have my word. I have never met anyone that does not love these movements. And I meet a lot of people. Learn to design kettlebell complexes and flows from this position and discover new levels of grace and athleticism. The day ends with an extensive Q and A session.
