Please join us at the North York General Hospital's Teaching Kitchen on April 24, 2019 as we make an Avocado Mango Salsa. Creamy avocado and sweet mango pair together as the stars of this salsa and bring us Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Fibre. Fresh and simple, a crowd pleasing recipe! No prior experience is required. Please note that the class is free, so limited spots are available and registration is required. The class begins at 4pm, allowing participants 15 minutes to get ready (i.e. handwashing, gloving up). The actual cooking will start at 4:15pm and run until 5:00pm. To save time, online waivers are available; however, please print a copy of your confirmation receipt and bring it to class in order to participate. Teaching Kitchen is a fun and interactive to explore food, learn about nutrition, and enhance cooking skills.
