Viva Mexico Pop-Up

Inspired by a recent trip to Mexico and its rich culture, we present the Viva Mexico Pop-up. Taking place at The Pie Shoppe in East Vancouver from 7pm-11:30pm on March 16.We will be featuring a five course menu, of Chef Sasha's interpretation of some Mexican classics.Viva Mexico Pop-up Menu - $65First CourseMini vegetable empanadas with salsa verde and salsa rojaSecond Course Esquite SaladWheat berry salad with creamy corn, nopal and herbs - Vegan option available. Third Course Sopa AztecaChili tomato broth, shredded chicken, avocado, tortilla strips, cheese and crema. Vegan option - vegetable broth, vegan cream and chz. Main CourseChiles en Nogada Poblano peppers stuffed with guajillo ground beef and raisins, topped with walnut cream sauce and pomegranates. Vegan option - Poblano peppers stuffed with mushroom and pumpkin seed mix, topped with walnut cream sauce and pomegranates. Dessert Churros with dulce de leche dipping sauce and fresh berries. Please notify the organizers of any allergies and/or dietary restrictions.Ticket sales close on Thursday 11:30pm. Cash bar.  More Info below.
