Creative And Rhythmic Movement, For Grades K-2 (Winter 2019 Session, Wednesdays, Fishtown)

his movement class is both creative and technical. Students will be exposed to movement from many styles including hip-hop, ballet, folk, and modern dance to develop skills in coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, rhythm, and expressive qualities. We’ll have lots of fun while being ourselves, appreciating each other, and working together. Classes take place at Philadelphia Tango School, located at 2030 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125 on the block between Norris and Suquehanna. This 45 minute class happens 4:15-5:15pm on Wednesdays, January 16- February 27 for this 7-week Winter session. There will be no class on 3/6. Classes will resume on March 13, 2019. This class is open to all genders. Street shoes are not permitted. Dance shoes are optional. Flexible pants that cover knees and shirts that cover shoulders are ideal. Fantastic costuming is permitted as long as it doesn't impede movement. Questions: Email [hidden] More Info below.
