El Coroto kitchen Takes over Poquitos Cantina. Join us for a vegan kitchen take over by Chef Juan Pablo González and Alexandra Peña, owners of El Coroto food cart, at Poquitos Cantina in Vancouver. The tasting menu features traditional venezuelan flavours, with iconic staples of its gastronomy such as "Pabellón Criollo" "Arepas" and mouth watering deep fried "cheese" sticks called Tequeños. Main Act Pabellón Criollo: Pulled Jackfruit marinated "Flank steak" in tangy tomato and adobo sauce, fresh white rice, Black beans, Deep fried sweet plantain slices.
