T R A N S P O R T A T I O N If you need to fly in order to participate at the marathon, besides the destination Plovdiv you can also check SOFIA (distance to Plovdiv is only 145 km) and ISTANBUL (distance to Plovdiv is 400 km). A lot of low-cost airlines fly to both of the cities and provide cheap tickets. We have also organized 3 bus transfers: SOFIA - PLOVDIV (13:30 local time on 15th of February, 11:00 OR 19:00 on 16th of February) and PLOVDIV - SOFIA (3:00 OR 8:00 AM local time on 19th of February). The duration of the trip is approximately 2 hours. The price is 13 in one direction, 22 for both directions. ISTANBUL - PLOVDIV (08:00 AM local time on 16th of February) and PLOVDIV - ISTANBUL (9:00 AM local time on 19th of February). The duration of the trip is approximately 4-5 hours.
