Bia Introductory Adult Ballet Workshop

Designed specifically for new-to-ballet adults of all ages and athletic abilities. No prior dance experience required! Tuesdays 6:30 – 7:45 pm January 16 through March 6, 2018 $120 for this 8 week program Designed for those who have never had a dance class, this 8-week workshop focuses on the fundamentals of classical ballet. Classes will be at a slower pace and include a Q&A segment in order to gain a better understanding of barre and center exercises and their progression. While learning basic positions and steps, focus will also be on improved posture and alignment. At the end of the workshop, students will feel more at ease to join our regular adult beginning classes. The atmosphere will be comfortable, fun and encouraging! Dress Code Tights and a leotard or yoga pants with a sports bra and T-shirt. Attire should be comfortable and allow you to move freely. Ballet technique shoes (canvas or leather) are recommended.
