Rhythm On The River: Balletmet

Enjoy summer evenings under the stars! Columbus Recreation and Parks Department presents Rhythm on the River with BalletMet. Admission is FREE. Food and beverage sales begin at 6:30 p.m. BalletMet: Join BalletMet for an evening of inspiration alfresco. This co-production with the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department will feature BalletMet dancers performing excerpts from the company’s 2017/18 season, including both classical and contemporary works. With the backdrop of the city, enjoy some of the most iconic moments from BalletMet’s upcoming season, packed with company and world premieres and featuring cutting-edge works from choreographers like Ohad Naharin, Jerome Robbins, Andrea Schermoly, and BalletMet artistic director Edwaard Liang. Renowned for its versatility and innovative repertory, BalletMet maintains its commitment to the creation of new work and the re-staging of contemporary masterworks with the goal of ceaselessly stimulating and inspiring audiences, time and time again. Donatos Pizza will be selling pizza by the slice and pie and the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department Strawberry Food Truck will feature West African cuisine provided by Asempe Kitchen Catering and locally made, organic popscicles from Too Good Eats!
