Sketch & Sip: Salsa In New York

Get creative and relax with drinks at this after-hours event at the Museum of the City of New York! Find inspiration in the Museum’s rich collections through guided drawing exercises and gallery tours. The program includes artist-led sketching and a tour of the Museum’s exhibition Rhythm & Power: Salsa in New York, which illuminates salsa as a social movement from the 1960s to the present. Sketch & Sip is open to adults 21 years & up, of all artistic abilities. Fee includes two drinks (alcoholic and soft drinks) and drawing materials for use during the evening. $30 for adults | $25 for seniors & students (with ID) | $20 for Museum members.
