Eifman Ballet Of St. Petersburg: Tchaikovsky

Tchaikovsky’s music has given us some of the greatest ballets of all time, including The Nutcracker & Swan Lake. This June, Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg, the only Russian ballet company currently touring outside of Russia, returns to The Music Center with Tchaikovsky. This grand artistic ballet explores the intriguing composer’s life and creative drive. Set to Tchaikovsky’s most popular pieces and choreographed by Boris Eifman, the ballet showcases characters from his work who materialize as demons, fairies, and other fantastical characters, pushing and pulling him from torment to the brink of ecstasy.
