Named after the model of airplane that carried Carlos Gardel on his fateful South American tour in 1935 (the plane crashed in Medellin, Colombia, killing Gardel and all passengers), this young, talented Colombian ensemble makes its Washington debut as part of the DC Tango Festival. Comprised of piano, guitar, violin, double bass and bandoneon, F-31 Quintet brings a distinctive sound to traditional tango. $30 admission, includes Argentine wine reception. More Info below.
