Tango Classes With Patrick & Michaela

Originally from Wyoming, Michaela Stockhouse came to Montana for school but fell in love with the Missoula Tango community and the rest is history! She's been dancing tango for four years and was dancing East Coast Swing for four years before that. She has experience in Waltz, Foxtrot, Country-western two-step and Jitterbug. When not dancing or being a Payroll Manager, she likes to chillax with her husband and two cats. Playful, spiral movements in Tango. Two classes with Michaela Stockhouse and Patrick Marsolek from Missoula Tango. Saturday, Feb. 4th, 1:00 to 2:30 and 3:00 to 4:30. $15 for one class or $25 for two. These classes build on each other. Location: TBA (Spokane or CDA based on RSVPs) These two classes will explore how to stay grounded while having a quality connection with your dance partner. Working with a fluid, flexible embrace you can enjoy more spiral movements in turns and wraps. Some previous tango experience required. And... There will be a milonga afterwards! Location TBA... Patrick Marsolek has danced Argentine tango for twelve years and taught for ten around Montana and the Northwest. He was a co-founder of TangoHelena. Patrick along with his wife actively Lori teach in Missoula and around Montana and have been instrumental in building a warm, friendly and vibrant communites. He is passionate about building community around tango, and teaching the culture, creativity, and the different variations of tango for individual expression, so that it is fun and accessible to all ages.
