MEET THE INSTRUCTORS Fuad Adra began his teaching career in 2001, and has taught with Özlem Direk since 2009. Their tango paths joined during a trip to Buenos Aires, and have been a joyful partnership since then. Throughout their tango journeys, they have been blessed to train endless hours under the most acknowledged and respected masters, including Mariano Chicho Frumboli, Sebastián Arce, Mariana Montes, Dana Frigoli and Fabián Salas. Their love and talent took them to various cities across the US to teach workshops, and overseas to perform to international audiences. Some of their previous students have turned professional and they take great pride in watching them grow. They are known for their colorful musicality and a unique blend of traditional and new tango. In their teaching, they strive to give their students the tools and technique to unravel the mystery of the music in a dynamic embrace, while enjoying a pure connection and communication with their partner, each one bringing to the dance their unique self. Currently, they are based in Houston and continue to share their knowledge through group and private classes while continuing globe-trotting around the tango axis. More Info below.
