You dance with friends and strangers for hours knowing only the magic of improvisation and mutual dance dialog. To accomplish this, each partner learns a language that is universal, but combines infinitely, and communicates clearly. We will learn the basic elements, practice drills, and work on movement quality as well as partner connection. The musical structures of Argentine Tango will be introduced. We prepare you for your Tango future when the Tango dancer elaborates their own construction of the dance and followers participate with their special musical energy and influence. The dance communicates sensuality, emotion, and power. Argentine Tango celebrates connection. We rotate partners to develop the strongest lead/follow improvisational skills.
