What is urban kiz? Urban kiz is a partner dance that has it's roots in the Angolan dance kizomba. Taking elements of tango and hip hop, urban is danced to afro beats music that is becoming popular world wide. Artists like Rema, Tyla, Ayra Starr and Burna Boy are often heard at an urban kiz social dance. Urban kiz showcase lots of footwork and musicality that draws a lot of people in. Interested in learning more? Join us for this 4 week dance series where you will learn the foundations of partner dance. You'll be learning basic steps, techniques, and movements of UrbanKiz to get you started for social dancing. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their basic dance skills and connect with others in a fun and social setting.
