Salsa Classes In Windsor - Every Wednesday Evening

***PLEASE NOTE*** These classes will comence on Thursday 21st January. Our former Tuesday night Salsa classes in St Kilda are moving to Thursdays and to a new venue. Club Tivoli in Windsor will be our new home, just a stone’s throw away from St Kilda. Club Tivoli is an amazing venue with an established restaurant and bar and loads of onsite parking, this is a one-stop-shop for dancing, dinner and drinks. Making Wednesdays the highlight of your week. These classes have been running for over 16 years… We create a great atmosphere to meet new people and have some fun Salsa classes for the Absolute​ Beginner to Advanced level. These are casual classes so start on any week, no partner or bookings required. Our dance instructors are awesome and you get to dance with everyone after the classes for some social dancing. Come along, you will love it! SALSA FIRST TIMERS 7.00PM (Suggested duration 6 weeks) This class breaks down the rhythm and timing, basic footwork variations and leading/following fundamentals, with basic turn patterns at a slow pace. This class can also be used as a revision or warm up for the beginner class. No experience required. ____________ SALSA BEGINNER LEVEL 8.00PM (Suggested duration 3 months) This level is not for first time Salsa students, to enter this level you must have previously completed at least 4-6 lessons in Salsa. With an emphasis on timing and more leading and following techniques, this is a faster-paced class with weekly easy to learn moves. Requirement: First Timer level or understanding of Basic footwork, timing & turn patterns. ____________ SALSA INTERMEDIATE LEVEL 7.00PM (Suggested duration 12 months) This level expands on lengthy routines with double turns and spinning for males and females. Requirement: For those who have danced for at least 6 months in Beginner level 1, dance in time and can pick up complicated new moves with ease. ____________ ADVANCED LEVEL 8.00PM (Suggested duration on-going) A very challenging class, fast-paced with intricate turn patterns, routines, Salsa styling and Shines. Requirement: For those who have danced for at least 12 months in Intermediate level. For dancers who have a greater understanding of modern salsa. ____________ SOCIAL DANCING: After classes from 9.00 pm join us for some social dancing or practice what you learned in class. __________________________ Due to covid-19 restrictions, we will need to cap numbers of 50 people in each group class. - Sanitising on arrival and during class. - QR registration upon arrival - You may wear a mask if you choose to - Do not attend if you are feeling unwell or a member of your household is unwell.
