Strangely, it was in Montreal that he learned the secrets of salsa, bachata and merengue among others. I was nostalgic for my country, for music. Going to Latin nightclubs was a way to find my roots. He founded Salsa Etc. In the fall of 1988. He worked as a refrigeration technician and on Saturdays he taught. In order to perfect his teaching, he drew inspiration from different styles of Latin dances and resource people for whom he always has deep recognition for helping him. As his passion for Salsa grew, his hobby became his job and vice versa. He taught at Francine Glinas Studio, Espace Art, Boulevard des Arts, Agora de la Danse, Cepsum, Studio Bizz, mcgill University, Studios Les Sortilges, Louise Lapierre Danse, Graffiti Tango Studio, Au Palacio de la Salsa, Le Mga nightclubs and The Cactus. He trained teachers who worked with him and who opened their schools. These schools trained teachers who in turn opened their schools. He taught Caroline Par and Edson Vallon, internationally renowned artists. Many of Montreal's best dancers have passed through Salsa Etc. We recognize Alberto 's style everywhere. More Info below.
