Technique, Styling & Body Isolation (Coed)

In this series, students will learn the basics of body isolation, contra-body movement, and how to stylize the arms and legs purposefully to salsa, bachata, and cha cha music. Each session will begin with a warm up, followed by a lesson focused on a new element each week, ending with a short sequence that showcases how the element can be used on the dancefloor. Students will gain better body awareness and build a repertoire of movements that they can take to any social dance scene. *Please note that the Studio has a no outdoor shoes policy, so you need to bring another pair of shoes to change in when you get inside the Studio :-) *Please make sure to indicate if you wish to register as a leader or a follower (traditionally, the leaders are the men and the followers are women, but people are welcome to choose they role the want).
