Kizomba – the hottest new word in the latin dance scene in Toronto and all over the world. Kizomba comes from Angola, means “party”, and has been taking the world by storm in the last few years as a romantic music that catches the ear and as a sensual dance that captivates the soul. Kizomba, which is derived from Semba, has taken on many influences and allows each dancer to develop their own style based on their unique dance backgrounds and preferences. Additionally, other styles can be incorporated into your dancing and add to your musicality. This beginner 8 week course introduces the fundamental steps, men & ladies saidas, giro basicos, blocking, and more. Transform your lifestyle with a weekly class to get fit and learn something new. Classes taught by the elegant Tania Wong, who will share her expertise on the sensual (not sexual!) Kizomba. No partner required; just your dance shoes! Classes begin Thursday September 26th and will run to November 14th at 7pm at Dance ConneXion studio (3rd floor). $135/8 week course or $20/drop in class. Please register online to secure your spot and help us plan our classes to give you the best experience possible: [hidden] If you have any questions, ask away. See you on the dance floor! :)
