Lucy McVeigh has been an avid partner dancer for over ten years, specializing in lindy hop and blues. A classically trained mezzo-soprano and conductor, McVeigh is highly sought after in the United States and abroad for her impassioned performance of early and contemporary classical music. She calls upon her musical training, as well as her Bikram yoga practice, to cultivate a sensitive and holistic approach to musical interpretation and connection in her partner dancing. Lucy identifies as bi and cis.~Clyde is a seasoned instructor with over an 10 years of partner dance experience who teaches at Backroom Blues on Thursdays, is the only Blues dancer in the DC area to compete at the All Star level in national Blues Dance competitions, and is the host of the Blues Dance World, a podcast about the national competitive Blues Dance scene. He also judges Blues Dance comps and competes with DC Role Play, a West Coast Swing dance team that performs role-switching routines.~West Coast SwingDJ Kakah & Sophie Demo: [hidden] & Joshua Demo: [hidden] Space Policy-We support consent culture!
