THIS DATING EVENT IS FOR AGES 30s-40s!
THE DANCE LESSON
Unlike most speed dating events, we will begin with an ICE BREAKER FUN & EASY LATIN DANCE LESSON taught by one of our professional instructors. Daters will be partnered up randomly and the instructor will rotate partners frequently. Daters will be asked to introduce each other as they rotate to a new partner.
WINE & REFRESHMENTS
RED & WHITE WINE WILL BE OFFERED to help loosen up those nerves! (Non-alcoholic beverages served, too.) LIGHT REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED to nibble on between dancing and speed dating.
Following the dance lesson, daters will proceed to the speed dating portion of the event. Inside our beautiful venue, tables will be arranged to accommodate two participants at a time. One set of the speed daters (the ladies), stay seated at the same table, and the opposite group moves from table to table. Daters will have a chance to talk for up to 7 minutes when a bell rings or buzzer sounds. The speed dater progresses from table to table until each participant has had a chance to meet the other. At the end of the date, each dater will make a note if he or she would like to see the other person again. After that, the speed daters move on to the next table, and a new date begins. In a little over an hour, each person will have several chances to potentially meet someone special. After the event, the speed daters turn in their date cards to event organizers. They may be contacted via e-mail the following day. If two speed daters have registered a mutual interest in seeing each other again, the pair receives each other's contact information. From there the couple can contact each other to arrange another meeting or date.
