Learn to make the perfect pico! In this fun, hands-on class we'll be focusing on knife skills while applying the basic techniques to make your own well-balanced salsas to make at home. We will also go over how to compose a chili-centric steak marinade, make a great jalapeño street sauce and put it all together for fabulous street tacos. Come hungry, there will be a variety of salsas to taste as we discuss the basic composition of many types with the use of chilies, fruits and summer season features. Recipes and take home salsa provided!
Andria Millie of Cultivo has been making seasonal salsas with a Texas twist, while honoring Mexican tradition in Austin since 2012.
Snacks will be provided - BYOB encouraged!
