Monday June 10th to Friday June 14th Hands On Class - 9 am to 1 pm (4 hours) Class Description: 5-Day Culinary Camp, World Cuisine - 20 hours Total ** Register your kids for a week-long Surfas culinary camp focused on world cuisine.During this week of cooking, your children will learn international dishes while having fun! They will bring home great recipes that will impress family and friends. They will also learn basic cooking techniques from roasting and grilling, to baking and desserts, all with interesting flavors from around the world. Each day will be full of delicious food and hands-on cooking as they make new friends in the Surfas kitchen! Children will also learn rules and guidelines that enable them to experience what it is like to cook in a professional kitchen. A safe and clean cooking environment is important! (8 yrs. - 17 yrs., parent permission slip required)DAY 1 - ITALY:Caprese salad, Basil Vinaigrette, Home made Pasta, Linguini pasta, ​Bolognese sauce Cannoli DAY 2 - MEXICO: Mango and tomato salsa, Guacamole, Mexican coleslaw, Cilantro lime chicken, Mexican Rice, ChurroDAY 3 - CHINA: Eggrolls Lo mein Noodles, Orange chicken, Chinese fried rice, Mango PuddingDAY 4 - INDIA: Samosa, Chicken curry, Vegetable Pilaf, Lentil Stew, Homemade Naan, Mango LassiDAY 5 - GREECE: Hummas, Homemade pita bread, Greek salad, Grilled chicken kabab w/Taziki Sauce, Greek Lemon Rice, BaklavaAll ingredients, tools and supplies will be provided and are included in price.Snack and Lunch is also included. Children should wear comfortable shoes and have all jewelry to a minimum. We suggest students with long hair should wear it up in a ponytail, wear a hat or other head wear.
