Houston Black Heritage Music & Arts Festival 2019

The annual Houston Black Heritage Festival is a Texas-sized African-American cultural celebration that takes place in the heart of Downtown Houston. The family-friendly engagement brings the community together to honor the past and build towards the future with educational, inspirational and entertaining activities. Highlights of the festivities include live musical performances from national and homegrown talent in the genres of jazz, hip hop, RB, gospel and reggae as well as demonstrations from celebrity artists, cultural exhibits, poetry readings and dance showcases. The event also emphasizes empowerment and features highly-regarded speakers and discussions on topics like education, health, wellness and economic literacy. More Info below.
