Join BAPA and Running Excels for the Official Ridge Run 5K Walk to Run Program!
It may be hard to think about the unofficial start of summer with winter in full swing, but this official program is designed to get you from the couch to the starting line for the Ridge Run 5K, this Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th.
Specifically designed for walkers by Running Excels, this 8 week plan breaks down, week by week, a walker’s journey to becoming a runner. Participants will join in weekly group runs starting in Beverly at Running Excels on Saturday, April 6th. Group runs will be led by experienced Running Excels’ Running Specialists, including owner, Beverly Lynch and 9-time marathon finisher, Stephanie Ramirez.
Weekly runs will be held on the following dates at 8 AM:

The power of a program combined with the support of a group is unstoppable and this plan will get your summer started off on the right foot! Running can be intimidating, but this program is specifically designed for beginners, with info sessions, weekly encouragement emails and Q&As, along with local business partnerships and discounts, all to help you become a stronger, more confident runner.
