The Boston Arts Festival 2019

The Boston Arts Festival will take place Saturday, September 8 Sunday, September 9th, from 11am 6:30 pm, at Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park. This annual event is designed to showcase the visual and performing arts in Boston. Affectionately dubbed (ahts), it began in 2003 by Mayor Thomas M. Menino and the City of Bostons Office of Arts, Tourism and Special Events with the mission of promoting the Open Studios happening throughout the Fall in Bostons neighborhoods. The Boston Arts Festival is now run by the organizers of the Beacon Hill Art Walk and Artists Crossing Gallery, and will launch Bostons Arts Open Studios season featuring more than 70 juried local visual artists and craftspeople, plus local musicians performing on the Waterfront Stage throughout the day.
