It's the 4th Annual Intl Wild Bunch Film festival, for the western genre. Held in Willcox, AZ on Oct 46 2019. [hidden] Were excited that its in conjunction with the 68 Annual Rex Allen Days!! FILMMAKER INFO: When submitting your films, screenplays or both....they need to be western genre, but that also includes western sub-genres....like western horror, modern western, contemporary western and so on. It's not just the old west of the 1880's. Submissions can also be a current documentary, modern or contemporary western (also known as Neo-westerns) like the '72 rodeo movie Junior Bonner....or the recent film Hell or or High Water. It can even be an electric western - The 1971 film Zachariah starring John Rubinstein, Don Johnson and Pat Quinn was billed as, The first electric Western. The film featured multiple performing rock bands in an otherwise American West setting. Zachariah featured appearances and music supplied by rock groups from the 1970s, including the James Gang and Country Joe and the Fish as The Cracker Band. Fiddler Doug Kershaw had a musical cameo as does Elvin Jones as a gun-slinging drummer named Job Cain. Hope that helps. See the link below on western sub-genres. More Info below.
