The Mountains of North Carolina are rich in history and culture. The Southern Appalachian Historical Association is a not-for-profit member organization dedicated to the preservation of the cultural and historical heritage of the Southern Appalachian region. Producing the outdoor drama Horn in the West and supporting the Hickory Ridge Living History Museum are just two of the many ways SAHA is keeping history alive in the High Country.
