THIS MONTH'S BUSKER: Connell Thompson Connell Thompson's silky tone, soulful chops, and swinging hips make him one of the baddest horn players of the New York Underground. His renditions of SZA, Rihanna, Drake and Ella Mai put smiles on straphangers faces and gained him an enthusiastic following both in the New York subways and online. He performs with many eclectic groups and venues, including The Blue Note with Motown band Decade of Soul, The Kennedy Center with classical/hip hop fusion group Shouthouse, and the Otis Mountain Festival with his original Balkan party band Tipsy Oxcart. In addition to helping to write and produce the pet health video series Cone of Shame, Meg travels internationally teaching improv workshops at veterinary conferences – she isn’t a vet but if your cat’s peeing outside of the litterbox it’s probably a UTI. She’s a two-time emcee of TEDx Greenville and currently hosts Versus at Caveat every second Saturday. In her free time, she offers people jobs at Axiom Law. Justin Williams is an Assistant Professor of History at the City College of New York.
