Swing Dancing Workshop - 4 Week Course

This is a 4 week open level course that covers 6 count footwork of Lindy Hop. We will shuffle our feet, turn and twirl to Jazz music of 1930's and 40's. This is an open level course. We will go over the basics while we keep the materials challenging with exciting variations for more advanced dancers. Absolute beginners are most definitely welcome. We will meet every Monday for 4 weeks from 7:00 - 8:00pm starting JAN 14. Drop-ins are welcome for the 1st and 2nd week of the series or if you've attended the 1st or 2nd week or have some past dance experience. We will rotate partners frequently during the lesson so you will instantly make lots of new friends!! You will have a chance to mingle and dance with each other and try out all the new moves to authentic 30's and 40's jazz music. Although drop ins are welcome, we highly recommend to attend all 4 classes to learn various steps of swing dancing so that you will be comfortable on the social dance floor.
