A Piece Of Havana Here We Come - A Hard Habit To Break

Hey Charlotte Salsa Maniacs, Once again, we are heading back to A Piece of Havana on Friday. We are there the first of every month, and back there again on the 3rd of every month. We start the night around 8:00 pm., where we have a table reserved. I have been letting people know about the event via this meetup, by my Facebook network (Salsa De Soul), by word of mouth, and by the many dance groups I am fortunate to be a part of. We have been averaging twenty people, and most people show up, and usually bring someone as well. I let the owner Belkis know how many to expect the thursday before the event, and often, many Charlotte Salsa Maniacs don't rsvp, they just show up. That's cool. But, it is best to RSVP, so we always have enough room at the table. If you show up early for dinner and drinks, great. But here is an incentive. There is a live latin band from 7 - 10, then at 10, I teach the free Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue class. We have a ball in the class. You don't have to know how to do any of the dances, I will teach you. And if you know the dance, it is a good time to take the class just to warm up and smooth your moves. That's my style, Salsa De Soul, which is smooth, cool, romantic, musical, and joyous. So please come and join us. After I get through with the class, DJ Fuse or DJ Expresso comes on with the music and we dance until we drop. The First Friday of the month, we add a taste of Tango. So, you are in for a treat. Rumor has it, that after we introduce people to A Piece of Havana, some return week after week. Baby, A Piece of Havana is Habit forming. But it is a good habit to have.
