Sf Mambo Socials - Symbolic Dance And Fitness Studio

A monthly MamboSalsa social for dancers by dancers on every 2nd Sunday of the month, from 6pm 9:30pm at the Symbolic Dance Fitness studio is San Francisco. Dance lessons from 6pm-7pm by SF Mambo instructors, music by DJ Willie Martinez Guest DJ Hong Kwon. Street parking available walkable from 16th Mission BART station. This is one of several monthly salsa dance socials in the Bay, 5-6pm beginnerintermediate class, 6pm-9pm social. OK I'm a bit biased because I was one of the organizers years ago :) ... but this place is a nonprofit mambo dance social run by salsa addicts who fly to a bunch of Congresses a year... so it pretty much lends itself to a friendly social community of regulars and music has a lot more play involved. FYI it's about 90% salsa and 10% cha cha, so just don't expect bachata or modern romantica stuff here. (Go to Space 550 for that, that's their scene. More Info below.
