Seagull Steps 2018

Seagull Steps is coming again! Save the date for our upcoming Lindy blues workshop in November! We will be having six hours of lindy hop and two hours of blues, not to forget the socials, meaning plenty of fun and opportunities to improve your dancing! There will be two tracks; Beginners (less than a year of experience) Intermediate (more than a year of experience) Our teachers this year include: Lee and Seema, Anna Norman and Steve Carter for lindy hop as well as Joyce Monaghan for blues! Come and join us for this great weekend! :)Swing Dancing Aberdeen is a student-run society which aims to bring a passion for swing and blues dance to the city of Aberdeen and beyondWe hold regular classes on Monday and Wednesday nights in Kings Pavilion and MacRobert 614 (University of Aberdeen campus). Monday: King's Pavilion 18:00-19:00 free practiceoccasional stand alone classes 19:00-20:00 beginners tap intermediate solo jazz, alternating every week 20:00-21:00 invitational technique class Wednesday: MacRobert 614 18:00-19:00 improvers swing 19:15-20:15 beginners swing 20:45-21:45 beginners blues We have social dancing in between classes on Wednesdays, to practice new moves and socialize, so don't hesitate to stay after class! And of course we have our weekly socials on Fridays, 19:00-23:00, at the Old Hillhead shop!
