Build strength, coordination, flexibility, and balance organically through dance! This unique dance class draws from Modern Dance, Bartenieff Fundamentals, and Developmental Movement for fun and accessible dance movements. You will gain a better understanding of your body, learn to harness your strength, and move more ease-fully, while building muscular and cardio strength and endurance. This class includes working on the floor, and it is recommended to wear clothes that cover shoulders and knees for comfort while moving. This class is geared towards adults, but teens with dance training and focus may join. This class is open to all genders. This one and half hour class happens Tuesdays 6:30-8:00pm from November 7 to December 19, 2017 for this Fall 2 Session running for 7 weeks with the opportunity to continue in further sessions in 2018.
