Yaelisa & Caminos Flamenco, "Cafe Flamenco, Fiesta Flamenca"

Cafe Flamenco is an experience. It is the expression, emotion and passion of a Gypsy art form that is rooted in the tradition of improvisation onstage between the finest flamenco artists, in this case the award-winning artists of Caminos Flamencos. Cafe Flamenco was originally the brainchild of a project discussed in 2000 between SFIAF Director Andrew Wood and Emmy Award-winning artist Yaelisa, where it was presented for many seasons at ODC Theater. Cafe Flamenco is an idea, where an audience surrounds the artists onstage and as they do in Spain, participate, enjoy and feel the vibrations of flamenco at its best and most interactively. Up close and personal, where flamenco and its interpreters are able to transmit their innermost arte to their audience.
