Samba No Pé And Samba De Gafieira

Samba de Gafieira, AKA Gafieira, is a partner dance to the Brazilian Samba musical rhythms. Unlike various street and club forms of Brazilian samba, it evolved as a ballroom dance (Danca de salão). Gafieira is usually a pair dance, although in artistic performances it is not uncommon to add solo variations, including steps of Samba no Pé. ANA ARRUDA, is a Brazilian master samba dancer and teacher with a great national and international reputation. She has mastered several styles of dances including but not limited to: Traditional Samba and Samba Funkeado ( Jimmy de Oliveira Dance School), Zouk and Kizomba (Entre Passos Dance School), Salsa and Bachata ( Fernando Schelemberg and Nayara Neoo and Latin Dance School). The 2 hour workshop is designed to accomodate beginners, intermediate and advanced levels covering both Samba Carnival (samba no pé) and Samba de Gafieira. RSVP by 10/06 to this workshop and get 15% off any of the tickets.
