Flamenco Night

Join us for a night of flamenco in the Riggi Theater at the National Museum of Dance! The Alegria Ensemble will present an evening of provocative rhythms, spirit and duende. The Alegria Ensemble consists of Maria Zemantauski - guitar, Jose Miralles - guitar, Monica Roach - cello, Jeff Michael - percussion and special guest flamenco dancer "La Nina”! The Alegria Ensemble has been described by music critics as “an elegantly understated global music ensemble.” With a repertoire that is influenced by both tradition and innovation, the Spanish guitar remains at the center of their sophisticated sound.
