Foxtrot Performance Class

FOXTROT PERFORMANCE CLASS Instructor/Choreographer: Nicole More than a class, this is an experience you will always remember. Work with a great group of fellow talented dancers, learn fun choreography, & perform it in front of a cheering audience! Of course improve your Ballroom patterns, technique, & styling along the way! REQUIREMENTS: You must have instructor approval: Nicole or Nino only. Must be an advanced Ballroom student. Or, advanced and experienced dance performers with at least a basic knowledge of Foxtrot may qualify. Must be a hard worker, enjoy detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to pick up choreography quickly. Positively handle criticism. Must know all core with impeccable timing, footwork, balance, and control. Must find and provide an equally qualified partner that you can commit to for the duration of the program. Must make up every date missed (possibly at an additional expense), as to not slow down the choreography and class progress. Must be available and willing to practice on your own and with your partner outside of class every week. Choose your partner wisely. No refunds or changes no matter what your partner situation is or becomes. WHAT’S INCLUDED: • 24 hours of performance class, • Studio Practice time by appointment, when available September 2 - November 25. • At least one opportunity to perform the routine in front of a live-audience. • Costuming at an additional cost (we try to keep it simple & very reasonable) • Optional, occasional extra coaching at an additional cost. • Extra rehearsals &/or extending the performance class for future opportunities at additional cost DATES & TIMES: Wednesdays. September 2 - November 25 (no class Sept 30). 8pm to 10pm. Target Performance: Nov. 27 Strictly Ballroom Dance Party Optional Performance (additional cost): Winter Showcase, Dec 5, other events. FEE: $325 EARLY bird. Paid by August 23. No exceptions. $375 Regular Rate after August 23, if space available. Even if your partner drops out (so choose your parter wisely). However, we do deserve the right to cancel prior to the start of class if we do not have a minimum of qualified registrants. In this rare event, full refunds will be given. IMPORTANT DETAILS: You AND your partner must be approved by Nicole or Nino before registering. If they are unfamiliar with you or your partner's dance ability, you may have to schedule a 15-minute audition at an additional cost. More Info below.
