Argentine Tango 101 - Beginner Series

Argentine Tango 101 will be a six-week lesson series devoted to new dancers who want to take their first steps into social Argentine Tango dancing. From learning how to walk with a partner, to navigating the dancefloor in new creative ways, this class will provide the foundations to begin the Tango journey. What you need to know: • Location - Avalon Roc, 470 State St Rochester, NY. Parking and entrance in the back. • Time - Mondays, 7:00-8:00pm, followed by Pratica Boedo, 8:00-10:00pm • Cost - $100 per person for the whole series, $160 for a couple registering, or $20 for drop-ins. The pratica is free for lesson attendees. • Proof of COVID Vaccination required, masks optional (as of now). • While signing up with a partner is encouraged to help with role balance, it is not necessary.
