Berlin Calling Tango Meeting 2020

The 3rd edition of this special weekend is curated and led by Bianca (Rojo y Negro Tango, London) and Stephane (El Turquito from Tangologie, Paris). As they enjoy working together, they decided to create a unique Tango event in one of the most exciting cities in the world: Berlin. They propose to embrace the city through two emblematic Tango locations for the classes as well as the milongas. This year, they have invited the Calabrian dancer and teacher Rosanna Vecchi! This event is aimed at Tangueros from a Tango season to more experienced levels. It will be based on an all levels program with one-third individual technique and two-thirds couple technique, where the emphasis will be on the practical aspects of dancing in the milonga, musicality in a context where students will be led to dance every night, to immerse themselves in the world of tango and to discover one of its most fascinating aspects: that of being able to embrace humanity across borders or linguistic barriers and to immediately be part of a community that is part of it! As we aim to ensure there is a certain parity in the roles of guides and followers, we invite you to book as a couple if possible. Places for single dancers are limited, so please secure your place by making the advance payment on this website. The official part of this event will start with the dinner and milonga on the evening Friday 1st of May and will end with the last milonga on Sunday 3rd of May 2020 but the participants can arrive and leave when it suits them. The workshops, visits and milongas will take place on the weekend but there is still a lot more to see in Berlin if you decide to stay longer. The early bird (before 1st March 2020) cost of the event is minimal @99 euros (115 after) which includes 6 hours specialized workshop given by 3 amazing international teachers, and the organiszation of fun and surprise group activities like city walks and visits to milongas, guided by your teachers.
