1400 Food Lab is pleased to present Sunday Suppers — a monthly dinner event featuring one or more of the amazing makers who call our kitchens home. Through these communal meals, they will share with you the cultural heritage, family traditions, seasonal influences, and modern methods that continue to shape their food philosophy, cooking styles, and signature dishes. Join Chef Brendon Fox of Foxfire Tacos for an abundant Latin-inspired Sunday Supper, featuring some of Brendon’s favorite recipes for entertaining at home. Specially-selected wines and Ohio craft & imported beer available for separate purchase. House-made Green and Red SalsasTortilla Chips by OH! Chips Barbacoa de Cordero al HornoMonterey-Style Slow-Cooked Leg of Lamb served with flour tortillas, cotija cheese, beans, and fresh salsa Blue Corn Crusted Chicken & Cheese Pot Pie Black Beans & Rice with Smoky PorkTopped with Fried Plantains Red Cauliflower SaladChopped cauliflower with onions, tomato, cheese Chile-Lime Vinaigrette Classic Refried Pinto Beans Cilantro-Lime Rice Pickled Watermelon Rind Mexican Street Fruit Saladslightly spicy version of a classic favorite Specially-selected wines and Ohio craft & imported beer available for separate purchase. Brendon Fox is the owner/operator of the local food truck, Foxfire Tacos, and a 1400 Food Lab resident maker. Brendon makes authentic Mexican tacos and adds his own personal touches with house-made sauces and toppings. In addition to super-delicious traditional offerings, for the more adventuresome palate, his braised goat and beef tongue tacos are amazing! Chef Fox has worked in quick-service restaurants on both sides of the stove as a cook and customer service manager – all of which inspired him to start his own food service business. Newlyweds, Brendon and wife Julie, had all seven “fur-babies” (6 cats and a dog) in attendance at their wedding last year! 30 seats are available for this event. A minimum of 18 registrants are required to hold the event. All ticket purchases must be made prior to 5:00 PM, July 25. No refunds or cancellations after July 21. If you are unable to attend, tickets are transferable to other individuals with notice to 1400 Food Lab at [hidden]. Tickets are NOT transferable to different events.
